I’m useless in close combat situations with a controller (and not much better with a KB and mouse) but, I do have good days when my knife is my best friend.

The teamwork and awesome weapons/support weapons & equipment make BF3 so much better than fucking COD!! lol
Ok, so rant over haha, well I don’t know what to talk about, the fact that I’m concentrating on Uni studies isn’t helping as much as I thought for ignoring the fact that I’m still single haha. Such is life!

Gears of War 3 - The Unfortunate Truth
While the campaign is a superb masterpiece, VS Mode is just as broken as it ever was, thanks mainly to the Sawn-Off Shotgun, and people’s superior connection speeds. While the dedicated servers make Gears online far MORE balanced than it has ever been, it is still not balanced. The Gnasher Shotgun has been dumbed down so much, it’s like firing a spud gun at an armored mech warrior, or something. Horde 2.0 is a good laugh, and Beast mode, while being great fun, is far too short at just 12 waves. The campaign is the best thing about the game by far, and to be honest I expected online mode to still be broken, but I had hoped it would be improved enough so that the Americans wouldn’t dominate like they did on Gears 2, but sad and unfortunate truth, is that Epic Games is an America-based company, as are their servers. Personally, VS Mode is going to be ignored by myself, as it still feels like a ridiculous struggle, and I cannot be bothered playing another 3/4 years of Gears online failing to win over and over again.
Gears of War 3:
Campaign: 10/10
Co-Op: 9/10
Horde & Beast Mode: 8/10
VS Mode: 4/10
